In most cases, we do not need to rip the whole DVD movie or convert the whole video/audio file. We just want a certain segment of the DVD movie or video/audio file. For example, you may want to import a short DVD clip into your Windows Movie Maker project or put a 10-minute segment of the whole 1-hour video onto your iPod player. So the following tutorial will show you how to trim DVD movie, video or audio file using Clone2Go DVD Ripper.
1. Import the DVD disc or video file into Clone2Go DVD Ripper.
2. Click the DVD title or video file you are going to trim.
3. Preview the DVD movie or video in the program.
There are two different methods to trim the DVD movie or video:
a. During the previewing, you can use the "Start to trim" and "Stop to trim" scissors to get the DVD movie/video segement you want.
b. Click the "Output Duration" button below the "Profile" category to specify the "Start Time" and "Stop Time".
4. Choose a "Profile" and start to convert.
