The following guide will show you how to rip/convert DVD to AVI format for playback on BlackBerry, Archos, Creative Zen, iriver, XBOX 360, etc and convert DVD to XviD or DivX. Part 1. How to Rip/Convert DVD to AVI/XviD/DivX?

1. Import DVD movies
Insert the DVD disc into the disc drive, click the "Open DVD" button to import it.
2. Choose the output format
From the drop-down list of "Profile", navigate to the "AVI Video" category. From the sub-category, you can choose the most appropriate output format.

Part 2. How to Convert/Burn AVI to DVD, DivX to DVD, XviD to DVD?
The software you need is AVI to DVD Converter ( free download ). Below is the screenshot of this program:
Let's take a look at how it performs:
1. Import the AVI file to the program by clicking the "ADD Video Files" button.
2. Choose DVD menu, DVD theme, transition effects, etc for the output DVD.
3. Insert a DVD disc into your PC and click "Burn DVD Disc" button to start burning AVI to DVD.
